Research Fellowships

The Fund fosters three major highly competitive programs:

Travel Fellowship Awards

Travel fellowships up to $5000 will be awarded to Israeli graduate students and post-doctoral fellows who (i) wish to participate in an international conference or workshop overseas and/or (ii) visit another laboratory in Europe or in USA to study or to use a special technique which is not applicable in their home laboratory. These travel fellowships are intended for visits up to 3 months duration.

PhD Fellowship Awards

These awards honor exceptional graduate students in one of the academic institutes in Israel with a stipend of $15,000/yr. The Fund’s goal is to identify outstanding senior graduate students who plan to conduct post-doctoral training.

Post-doctoral Fellowships Awards

Post-doctoral fellowships (up to $25,000/yr) will be awarded to outstanding PhD scientists that are planning their postdoctoral research abroad and wish to return to Israel after completing their academic training.
